I sadly find this list trivialises what is done by experienced, professional researchers and UX professionals.

There is no mention of:

  • semi structured interviews so you can adapt to what the participant says,
  • the need to summarise ask closed questions to ensure you have missed nothing out
  • the need to take notes (preferably recording the session)so you don’t miss anything out
  • conducting preliminary research to ensure you ask the best questions with your recruited participants
  • how to ensure you keep to time and get the most out of the interview by having a clear agenda and timeframes given to the participant in advance

I strongly suggest you think this through again and share content that truly adds value. Don’t be deceived by all the claps you are getting at the moment.
